the land of real* packaging

9/17/2024 Big Pharma Distillate - RED 40: Allura OG
The most recent parody cart packaging. Went all out on this one with the Red 40 theme at the request of my cousin and it worked great. I love the overwhelming feeling of red on this box and the shameless appeal to consumer culture and "extreme" aesthetics. All in all, an awesome project and a potential gag-gift for the future (red food dye + vegetable oil in an old cartridge?)
*WORK IN PROGRESS* Mustard Magic - Heinz spoof #2
This is still very much a work in progress as well but it's a quick color and text change of the ketchup cart packaging, obvious in the slight artifacting and red hue around dark colors. Comment any changes you think I should have and specify which cart box/ panel!
*WORK IN PROGRESS* Dank Ketchup - Heinz spoof
This is still very much a work in progress but it's the general vibe that the package will have, (minus other informational text).
*QUICK WORK* G FENT X GHOST FACE ~ G Fuel Spoof
request submitted by @lilcreamcheese! A cross-over for the ages with extra realism! this was kinda challenging and I want to revisit it at some point to clean up shitty outlines, and better blend into the background/original artwork.
*QUICK WORK* QUIXOTIC - AI Augmented Reality Ignorance Glasses-
This product packaging isn't a parody but more of a social critique on echo chambers and capitalism's use of materialism and high-society, tech 'innovation' to distract us from the larger discrepancies within society. Too often we want to see a version of reality that doesn't exist or yearn for an idealistic or unrealistic fantasy to be our lived reality instead of engaging with the realness around us every day. We are all guilty of this on a daily basis in the form of social media and its exaggeration of reality in curating the perfect picture or optic, however, that mindset of "perfect reality" or a "perfect life" is just a further dissociation from our humanity and the dire reality in front of us. This product asks the question, "how long until we choose to tune out what we see?"
??/??/2022 Red Lobster: Cheddar Bay Biscuit OG
this was the first parody cart packaging I ever made, and also probably my favorite one; those damn biscuits are too good.
